Looking For My Ideal Architectural Engineering Job - Mechanical

Q: I am looking for my ideal AE job. Anyone have any suggestions?? First, a little about myself: I currently work at a mid-sized, MEP consulting firm on the East Coast. I graduated from Penn State with a Master's Degree in Architectural Engineering, mechanical systems design. I am beginning to get bored with my present position and am not happy with the high cost of living where I'm at now. I have two years project engineer experience and have started taking on project management responsibilities. I am not certain what direction I want my career to go. I'm hoping to get some advice some more experienced engineers and professionals. Some aspects of my IDEAL job: 1. A challenging and rewarding career 2. The ability to continue my education and expand my knowledge. (not stuck designing ductwork or pipes for 10 years and would like to get my MBA) 3. Work on big, high profile, and varied projects - not spec office buildings 4. International projects and the ability to do some travel. I have an interest in traveling and working in Asia 5. I have an interest in underground structures, tunnels, etc... might be hard to find a job in this field 6. Would like to be involved in design through construction.. Enjoy talking to and learning from the people who actually build what you design. 7. Not stuck in a cubicle 24/7 8. Have Senior Engineers available to teach, mentor, and give advice. A good engineer is only as good as what he knows. Need to be in a situation where I have the ability to learn from other more experienced engineers.
