They would anticipate the new arrival of stock and loved the whole idea of the cut-price designer labels of Loehmans. This arrival of new stock at the very first Loehmans became a huge event, and it is one that is still copied today. Known as the Back Room, this is where customers of Loehmans can go to acquire new items at low prices. The mission of Loehmans today is still the same as it was when the store first opened. To provide the customer current designer fashions and low prices, and by looking at the success of the Loehmans store it has certainly worked well.
