Apparel Man

Most men want to look good. At work and at play. So what are the basic essentials of a man's apparel? Experts say that you start with a suit. Even if you are a plumber and will never wear a suit to work you will need a suit for those special occasions. Weddings, funerals and that extra special night out. Buy a navy, dark blue or gray suit that will go with everything and every occasion. If you wear a suit to work every day then you will need a few suits so that you can rotate. Next you will need black shoes. You can wear these with anything. Even jeans and a tee shirt. You will also need a good white dress shirt and a couple of ties. That will prepare you for almost any formal situation that can arise. Finally your basic apparel set should include jeans or khakis and your choice of underwear and socks. All socks are good but the better made ones last longer. Fashion rule number one for any male, however is never to wear white socks unless you plan to be involved in sports or a physical activity. For casual apparel you are really on your own and there are no set rules. Whatever you feel comfortable in is the only guideline as long as they are clean, do not have holes in them, or are not used for work. There must be a clear separation between work and pleasure. Some options to consider once you have your basic apparel needs down part are possibly a blazer, usually navy blue or a darker shade works best. Something that can let you be a little dressed up without having to go the whole suit and tie thing. The final touch to your ready to go wardrobe should be a nice casual shirt like a polo or golf shirt that you don't wear to play golf or polo. You wear in when you want to go on a date like a movie or to a concert in the park. Just dressed up enough that you look good and your partner will notice.
