Would A Paralegal Degree Look Good On A Law School Application???
Q: I am currently an undergraduate student who is planning to apply to law
school in 2 years. I have the opportunity to also acquire a paralegal
degree. I have the money for the course, but I am wondering if it will be
worth the 1000 dollars. Some of my friends have even said that it would look
BAD. I would really like some advice from someone of you. Any feedback would
be appreciated
A:If you think you may not make it to or through law school and would like to
be a paralegal for a while then do it, but if that is not the case, I would
suggest not. it might not look _bad_ on a law school application but it
won't necessarily look good, it really won't do anything for you as far as
law school and applying for clerkships and jobs during and after law school.
so unless you are going to be a paralegal for a while, don't waste your
money.
