Why Have Women Commoditised Sex?

Q: Why have women commoditised sex? Everywhere you look, women are selling sex. On the TV, on the internet, in magazines and in adverts. The youngest, prettiest, sweetest girls you've ever seen will do anything for money in pornography. Escorts and massage parlours are touting for business everywhere. You can have anything you want, if you'll pay. In the personals, adverts for "generous gentlemen wanted". Any attempt to approach a woman in a non-commercial setting meets with rejection and abuse. Or worse, a sexual harrassment law suit. What's wrong with women today? Why does it have to be bought and sold? Isn't sex supposed to be about love?

A: Today's women have totally bought into the market idea. Historically, women had to look for a provider man. Now, with the free market economy and equal rights, women see their bodies as a commodity with a price tag. They are kind of running a pussydaq: a stock market for sex. Eastern european and asian women are cheaper than those western women; but then increased migration from the third world is driving prices down. I am not sure if it is sad or just the consequence of living in a market economy.
