What Is Weight Loss Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is induced by one person by the power of suggestion. The person who is hypnotized goes into a state of relaxation resembling sleep. The person who is under hypnosis can be receptive to suggestion. However, while the person may be very relaxed and open to suggestions, the person under hypnosis is aware of everything going on. This is how weight loss hypnosis works. Through suggestion, the person conducting the hypnosis can make the person under hypnosis have a desire to eat right, certain foods and/or exercise regularly. Weight loss hypnosis can work but the individual considering this method needs to have an open mind. Hypnosis works best for those that believe it will work for them. If you have doubts about the procedure, it may not work at all for you. The saying “mind over matter” is very true. Weight loss hypnosis is not a magical solution to your weight problems. Remember, this procedure works by suggestion. Even though the suggestions have been given to your unconscious and is consciously available, it is still through your own efforts that you will lose weight. The desire to lose weight has to come first.
