Using Business Card Label

Q: I have a business card sheet (Avery 05371) with a card setup in the first location on the sheet. How do I copy this one to the other 9 locations on the sheet? Problem I was having is: I copied an existing business card from PhotoHouse 3, after I had erased the current name, then, when I had it square 1 on the label sheet, I typed in the new name. When I tried to copy to the other 9 recrangles, all that went was my typing. AH! I bet I should have saved the file first, THEN copied.

A: -A label is considered by WP as a page, so your sheet has 9 pages. Copy what you have on page one, do a hard page, ctrl +enter depending on your WP keyboard and past on the next. etc. -Use my LABLCOPY macro - http://home.earthlink.net/~wptoolbox2/Library/LablCopy.html "LABLCOPY - A macro to quickly fill up laser or inkjet label sheets (such as Avery?forms) with the same label or card. Good for return address labels, business cards, shipping labels, tickets, inventory tags, numbered log sheets, etc.-- wherever you need lots of duplicates." -Q: Problem I was having is: I copied an existing business card from PhotoHouse 3, after I had erased the current name, then, when I had it square 1 on the label sheet, I typed in the new name. like you are using a graphic image with your own text typed onto the card. I suspect the image may need to be resized, or perhaps used as a watermark where it will then show up on all subsequent pages (cards). While creating the watermark (Insert, Watermark) on the first card, you can bring the shading for the image up to 100 percent with a button on the watermark property bar. hen close the watermark window to return to your card. (You may have to tweak theimage location.) Also, try disabling the "Use separate document" checkbox on LABLCOPY's menu. Sometimes this helps. No need to save the file first, though I always save my "master" labels or cards for future use.
