US Vs UK - Undergraduate Business Degree
Q: I'm having a hard time deciding between studying BA at University of
North Carolina, or Accounting / Finance at London School of Economics.
I've gotten offers from both these universities.
My main concern in deciding between the 2 would be the recognition of
the degree for postgraduate MBA study in the US. Would studying at LSE
give me an advantage over studying at UNC-CH in this aspect?
Can I really compare a degree from UNC-CH with one from LSE?
A:A better way to look at the question is which school enjoys better
recruiting from top management consulting firms and investment
banks. Although UNC does better than most other state schools (except
Michigan, Berkeley, UCLA, and Virginia) for undergraduate recruiting,
and a Kenan-Flagler MBA is even better relatively speaking, I'd LSE
has the edge.
