Q: Can anyone give me any advice on finding a "Train the Trainer" course in the UK. I have contacted Microsoft and MOUS and they can only give me names of organisations in the States.

A: -Our company is running a ctt course in conjunction with corporate learning which is 2 days train the trainer , in Hull. The course is recognised by Oracle, Novelll, Lotus and indeed Microsoft . If you pass a test during the course Microsft count it for MCT and MOUS instructor. If anyones interested. -Having attended a Train The Trainer course run by Corplearn (2 days), some of you seem to be under the misunderstanding of what the course is about. It has nothing to do with platform delivery i.e. VB6, Java etc which you would get from attending those platform specific courses, reading books or writing your own material. Train The trainer is about manager a training session, the way you adjust your delivery of a presentation to fit

the type of 'learner'. the way you present yourself both physically, visual and orally. I've attended many training course over the years and gained various qualification in training. However virtually all TTT is non platform specific. You learn the product inside out first, whether it's training people to change disk breaks, hard disk or filling in paperwork. The only exception to this and once again isn't platform specific is CITT (Certified IT Trainer) which once again is more concerned with how you present the information to the 'Lerner's' rather than what it technical content might be, with the proviso that you know the technical side of the subject you're training.
