The Trade Show Promotional Item For Promoting The Company

Few things encourage potential buyers to stop by a particular trade show booth than a promotional item being offered for free. And once they stop, booth workers have an opportunity to give more information about the company, pitch services and talk about sales and promotions – the ultimate reason for the trade show booth! A few decades ago, one of the most popular giveaways was the nail file. The reason for that popularity was simple – cost. One of the first things to consider when deciding on the promotional items for the trade show booth is, after all, the cost. With today’s technology, it’s possible to create some very exciting items right on the office computer. And with the number of companies out there ready to duplicate your item in bulk, it’s easier than ever to find an alternative to the nail file. One option, if the item is fairly expensive, is to limit the number you plan to hand out. That could mean that you choose when to hand out the item. For example, you could prominently display the item and offer it to those

who sign up to have a representative of the company do an in-home demonstration of the company’s product or services. Or you could simply offer a specific number of the item – 100, 200 or 500. Another alternative would be to give away a few of the promotional items every day, or even every hour. That allows workers to hand them out at random, but be careful that those rules are clearly posted to eliminate the possibility of misunderstanding with people who didn’t get one of the promotional items. Remember that you can’t really control how many times a person stops by the booth to pick up another of a popular item. But if the item turns out to be extremely popular, you’ve done your job!
