Tampa Bay, FL

Q: Does anyone know a good immigration lawyer in the Tampa Bay area?

A: An attorney is just as likely to make a mistake that would ruin your life together. I have heard many more unpleasant stories about attorneys than successful, pleasant ones. You can do this yourself without fear of making an error. Just take a look at my site, listed below. Use the index to navigate. Start on Step 1 and follow the links and checklists. Believe me, you can do it. Unless you have some skeletons in either of your closets, then you might want to hire an AILA certified attorney. i.e. your fiancée has an arrest and conviction for drugs or terrorism. Then you need a lawyer. i.e. your fiancée overstayed a valid visa in the US in the past. To fill in and mail two simple little forms, you do NOT need an attorney. Check out my site below and see if you still feel like you need an attorney. Getting one is not a surefire way to mistake-proof your case. Working on it yourself with explicit checklists and instruction IS a surefire way to make sure your case gets the individual attention it needs. To an attorney,

you are one of many and if s/he screws up, you still get to pay the penalties, not them. They tell you about all the successful cases, while sweeping the unsuccessful ones under the rug as they are not penalized for making the mistake only the client is. (Of course, an attorney will tell you differently. But they just want your money.) Take care, and enjoy the sites below. Start with the first one, check Step 1 and go from there. Pretty simple steps, just adding up to a complex process. Complete the steps in order and pretty soon you have your fiancée here, get married and continue on in the rest of the process. It's all there on my site in black and blue.
