State Of The Art DLP Projectors

For a long time, the technology in televisions was slow and constant. The gradual movement was predictable and stable, moving from black and white to color and increasing the size of the screen while trying to maintain the same picture quality. With a few exceptions, this was the standard movement of technology for televisions. However as technological advances have moved fast and furious in the past few years and new technologies have sprung up, revolutionizing the television industry. One of the newer technologies that has been getting some attention is digital light processing, or DLP. The DLP projector is a big piece of equipment that people are now looking at to enhance their home theater. This new technology is creating a sharper picture and helping projectors bridge the gap in quality between projectors and regular televisions. The digital light processing technology basically means the DLP projector reflects a beam of light and displays it. There are a number of reflective plates that reflect the light generated from a DLP projector a certain way and creates

a picture. These reflective plates move quickly and in unison to manipulate the light beam and display the image. DLP can create a sharper picture with more of these reflective plates. Of course, the more reflective plates mean the more money you will spend. The DLP projector can easily be placed into a home theater and not miss a beat. It is small enough to not take up a lot of space like a standard big screen tv. The big screen tv, unlike the DLP projector takes up a lot of space in the room. The DLP projector, while offering a great picture with retracting the light it generates to make its picture is small enough to fit almost anywhere and therefore keep the integrity of the room.
