Stainless Steel Man Jewelry
Q: Now that I have a new job, I'm going through the "man, I feel like a woman"
stage which includes make up & jewelry on the (semi) daily basis. Thing
is, I'm very limited. Is it "fc" (fashionably correct) to wear gold &
silver together? For example, my w*, engagement, & claddaugh (sp?) rings
are gold, but many of my necklaces are silver. I have one pair of gold
earrings, one silver, and one with both.
Any thoughts???
A:I say wear what you want together however, I think that big
clunky jewelry shouldn't be paired with smaller jewelry.
My w-ring is white gold, the ring my dad gave me is yellow gold. I
wear them on opposite hands and no one has ever commented other than
to tell me how beautiful my rings are. I occasionally wear a yellow
gold necklace with a small heart shaped pendant on it or a small silver
necklace. My watch is stainless steel; has to be 14K gold or better or
stainless or my body chemistry reacts to the metal. This only seems
to happen on my wrist and ears and never with rings.
I pretty much wear a mish-mash of jewelry now that I think of it.
The earrings I wear 99.9% of the time are small pearls in the top
pierce and larger pearls with attached tiny sapphire in the bottom
pierce. On rare occasions I'll swap out the larger pearls for peridots
to match my yellow gold ring.
