Soft Contact Lenses
The soft contact lenses are yours if you do not like the rigid or the hard ones. These lenses are very easy to adjust and are available with extra features such as colored lens, disposable or replacement types, extended wear type, etc. Generally, the soft contact lenses stop the passing of the ultra-violet rays. Of course, the underlying fact is that these are costlier than the rigid ones. The raw material for all the contact lenses is polymers. The main point of difference is the degree of oxygen that can permeate though the lenses into your cornea. This difference makes the lenses hard or soft contact lenses. The latter helps you in the free and instant movement of the eyeball. The penetration of the eye fluid in easier here and your eyes instantly adjust to these lenses. The soft contact lenses are of the disposable kind. You can use them either for a day and throw away or even after a single use. These do not require cleaning or maintenance. Of course, you pay slightly more for these benefits. Some of these are for using for a fortnight or even for a month. You have to take them off at night, clean and wear them the next day. Some again, are for extended wear, which means you need not take them off at night. You only have to dispose them after the said period expires. The
