Silver Snake Ring, Vic..Lou.. Lunar EB: Snake Ring?
Q: Ok, I was playing Lunar EB last summer, and a little in the fall.
But, due to university pressures and my Saturn, I wound up putting the
game down. Now I'm back into the quest. I just rescued Mauri, and am
about to enter the Red Dragon's cave. I have not completed the cave to
the south of Serak palace because I'm just not strong enough to beat
the monsters in there. (is that the Dragon's Nest?) And I hate
Dopplegangers. :) Where the heck do I find the snake ring? I can't
remember where Lion's Head is exactly...can anyone help me out? I'm
kinda foggy on everything - it's been a while. According to the FAQ,
Lucia's Tear is in the dragon's nest...but I could swear I just found
it at the top of Serak palace - Lucia used it and Zolphar's hold on
Mauri was released (temporarily). And i don't have a phoenix ring,
either. I'd REALLY appreciate it if someone out there could set me
straight. For now, I'm gonna go back to that cave to the south and
find what I can in there...I hate Dopplegangers...and those toads that
do like 200 damage per attack...and the red gargoyle things that cast
flame pillars..ouch.
A:Well, they way I gor through it was to make sure Jean or Hiro had the
Shiro Tail to make them as agile as possible. Also, watch out for the
Gargoyles with flashing eyes. They are about to cast their spells.
Finally, treat each of these battles as a boss battle. Stock up on
Silver Lights, and use the Dragon Wings to warp out whenever you run
low on supplies. Finally, save as often as possible.
