Sexual Harassment Laws?

Q: I am currently awaiting contact from a refferal attorney regarding my rights, I don't know what I am entiltled to if anything at all. My supervisor/owner of the company sexually harassed me just a little over two years ago. Has effected my job ever since, I am now at the realization that due to this my job has been effected and I am unable to complete my job duties, this supervisor has since made no advances towards me yet because of my position-Manager directly under him he does not communicate with me to and I cannot do my job if he does not communicate with me, for two years I have gone in and just done what I felt needed to be done, Just this last week he has taken the responsibilitie of staff issues away from me without any warning what so ever that he was gpoing to, he does not give me any direction whatsoever. The attorney I did speak to said that I should pursue because what was done was definetly sexual harassment, what do you sue for? severence? unemployment? cash?

A: This happens all the time and you can also file

with EEOC..It is a Federal Law violation of your Civil rights! Document the date, time, place and who was around at the time of the occurences! Unfortunately you may have to find other employment for your own safety and file a police report. Just because you are at work, does not mean you do not have any rights and cannot be protected by Law enforcemnt if they are gropping, touching or violent!
