San Francisco Bankruptcy Lawyer

Q: San Francisco, April 6 (Bloomberg) -- PG&E Corp.'s Pacific Gas & Electric unit, California's biggest utility, said it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection from its creditors. The utility said it filed in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Northern District of California, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. What do you think about this event???

A: "This case has enormous complications and it will take a lot of work to sort out how creditors will be paid and how all these energy regulations affect that," said a San Francisco bankruptcy lawyer whose firm has handled dozens of cases. "He's an excellent judge. He's very thoughtful and very decisive." What does anyone expect? Governor said absolutely nothing new last night. Just more of the "Don't blame me, it's not my fault." I really loved the bit about the rate increases (I happen to believe we need increases). He basically said, "There will be rate increases but most people won't have a bigger bill." Aren't politicians just great when they are trying to save their you know what?
