Sales Presentation Info.

Q: Sales Presentation Info. I'm in the process of putting a presentation binder together. Does anyone know where I could find information on national average installation cost per ton? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A:- National average installation cost per ton??? would that be residential?? or commercial?? or industrial?? would that be *minimum* efficiency?? or the very best?? straight replacement?? new installation (including all ductwork)?? There is a lot of difference not only in the above, but also in different locations and areas throught the country. - Your asking way to much of an A/C man, hell we cant tell you the cost difference from door to door. But if you do put somthing together are you going to make the info available for free, if not what will it cost, you know on a National average. - That's easy! Just add up the cost of the equipment, your labor rate, your self-employment Federal FICA Taxes of 15.4%, Federal Unemployment Taxes (FUTA), Federal Medicare Taxes, State Disability Insurance, State Employment Training Tax, State Umemployment Taxes, workman's compensation insurance (by law), truck insurance, truck fuel, truck repairs, truck maintenance, truck tires, truck depreciation, truck wash, truck registration fees, state license, licensing bond, uniforms, laundry, tools, tool boxes, vacuum pump, torch with oxygen and acetylene, nitrogen tank, nitrogen regulator, electronic leak detector, electronic scale, test equipment & meters, safety equipment, liability insurance, pagers, phones, utilities, EPA certifications, calculators to add all of these expenses, training, small office supplies, accounting fees, legal fees, fax machine, filing

cabinet, chairs, desks, advertising expense, bank charges, books & manuals, depreciation expenses, dues & subscriptions, medical insurance, dental insurance, freight, postage, interest expense, outside services, pensions, rent, waste & disposal expense, loss on NSF checks, depleting inventory & inventory adjustments (things do just get up and disappear), bad debt expenses, hand cleaner, lubricants, rags, pencils, pens, paper, batteries, shoe shine, computer equipment, ISP fees and of course, bonds and construction pemit fees. If I forgot anything, just add it to your cost list. That way, you will have *your* exact per ton installation cost for your presentation binder.
