Sad- DH Lost His Wedding Ring. ?
Q: I'm so sad here. DH called me a little while ago, to let me know that
he had lost his wedding ring at work. He's searched the building to no
avail. When he called me he was crying, so I started crying. I know
that it's "just" a ring, but that ring means so much to us.
He has a notice up at work about it, but Tom, is his last day until Jan
4th (company shuts down over the holidays. So I told him we are going
Weds, to find him another ring. Hopefully one just like his original.
I just feel sad that his ring is gone. Mine hasn't been off my finger
since he put it on there.
A:I am sooooo sorry to hear that. Poor Tom, I am sure he feels just
terrible! Hopefully you find him an identical match! I wish you the
best of luck in finding that match. If not, maybe he can get one that
is really close. You never know, maybe he lost it in his car or
something and you/he may find it when you least expect it!!
... I know how sad you must feel. I know it's "just a ring", and of
course you're glad it's "only" the ring and not the person that's lost,
but still, it is very upsetting. I will keep my fingers crossed that by
some amazing coincidence it turns up! It might happen - my Dad lost his
