Online-Schools Who Need Instructors
Q: I am looking for names of on-line schools, who are currently seeking
Instructors to teach Computer or Business Classes. Either Acredited or
not, Adademic or Continuing Education. Trade Schools are fine too.
I need schools that are looking for experience vs. a Degree
as their base qualification. I am looking for this for myself and a
friend. Both of us live in rural areas with limited local
opportunities.
A:It sounds like you're looking for a teaching position, but don't have any
documented qualifications to teach (i.e., no accredited degree). As such,
it's *very* unlikely that you'll find a legitimate, quality program that
would want to hire you. On the other hand, you could undoubtedly find a
scam that would probably love to have you, and probably bestow one of their
own worthless degrees upon you as well.
My advice would be to take a look at THomas Edison or Charter Oak, use your
experience to complete a legitimate degree through the portfolio and exam
process, and *then* seek teaching opportunities. Otherwise, you'll always
be stuck with less-than-above-board opportunities.
