Non-Profit Management Degree
Q: I'm going to do a Google search, too, but has anyone here had any experience with getting a degree for non-profit management online?
A: I see from the subject index to Bears' Guide, 15th ed., that nonprofit management degrees, non-resident or very short residency, can be found, among other places, at Capella, Hope International, Regis University (not, for goodness' sake, Saint Regis), and the University of Wales at Lampeter. Where does it say online? Not that I'd be looking for this kind of degree anyway. :-) As a side note, a farm in our area is offering an online course in "natural" hoof trimming. How one can learn to trim feet, naturally or not, without ever touching one is beside me. Maybe their idea of natural hoof trimming is to tell folks to leave their horse's feet alone and fire their farrier. :-( Oregon State University, has a whole department of Equine science, in conjunction with the school of veterinary science. The school of veterinary science is under going 20 million dollar modernization after they were placed on probation a couple of years ago by the national veterinary medicine accreditation body, The Department of Equine Science has received substantial funding by the state legislature and by grants from large corporate donors. A substantial part of this money is going to the department of Equine science for the modernization of their 200 acer horse farm on campus. The degree is a minor that is generally perused by those students who are in other agricultural programs,
