Need College Help Please..

Q: I am in a bit of a stumble. I am a senior in H.S. and I am going to go to school next year. I have been accepted at 6 schools. I was wondering if I could have your "Professional" opinions on which school has the best program, or is the best school overall. I just need some input. E-Mail me if you want or just post responces, thanks, here they are... A: Congratulations on being accepted at some very good schools. You must be very sharp [even if you can't tell 5 from 6 ]. You really can't go wrong with any of them. It depends to some extent on what

you want to do. For instance, U. Md. is very strong on software engineering (not to say it's weak in other areas, but it is well known for software). "Computer Engineering" might be expected to emphasize hardware--though I can't say for sure about the specific programs above. So I guess what it boils down to is--which school is strongest in the area(s) you are most interested in--this will take some research on your part and/or help from netters who are familiar with the school. If you're not sure of your specialized interests at this point, start at any of them until you decide. Are there any other factors--scholarships, travel costs, honors pro- grams?
