Missouri Personal Injury Attorney, Need Help???

Q: I have a question for any lawyer whom could help with answers. My daughter needs justice in an undeteermined cause of accident, against an insurance co.and possibly the state highway designers. She suffered a near fatal car accident, along with a passenger dec.1,1998.Insurance co.inflicted undue pain and suffering on her and family, they did not cover the total cost of her car, they made calls to her while in a trauma center, they paid no medical,no life flight, and came to our residence to have me " her mother sign my husbands signature as he was the chief policy holder, had me sign his name on a release of responsibility form for medical and auto. While in an emotionally distressed state. They had me sign the title to the car with a forged signature of my daughters as she was not available to sign. They then sent a letter of termination stating they did not have to explain the reason. The highway her accident occured on is famously known as dead mans curve,a gravel road sharply "y's" into the sharpest turn of the hwy.loose gravel is always up into the hwys. curve. She was not ticketed for speeding, drinking or anyhting else,no determining cause was found. The passenger and his family have recently settled for 50,000.oo from the insur.co.Missouri's state insurance commisioner has written us a letter stating we had valid grievances with them. But since i was coerced into forging names on releases, and accepted a check for her eyeglasses, and it has been almost one year is there a time limitation on pain and suffering damages they caused to her?She and i both have sought emotional help from phsycologists, impacted by the fact that her cousin was killed one year earlier in the same exact type of accident, this also was explained to them. The accident involved an undetermined veering off the bend of the curve, being pulled onto the gravel road, hitting the concrete barrier of a country bridge spinning back to the other side of the bridge, which had no barrier and flipping over upside down into a creek bed. This is how we lost my nephew a year earlier. So far after the accident the county put up a speed limit sign, accepted payment for a broken barrier that has never been there in the first place, and left it that way so that many, many more accidents

have and will continue to occur on that incorrectly designed hwy. please help if you can,i seek justice for my child.

A: I don't know anything about Missouri law, so don't rely on this as legal advice. It's just discussion. One year from the date of the accident is almost up. One year might be the statute of limitations. So it's critical that you get a lawsuit filed right away. Don't worry about who owes or why. Get your daughter to a personal injury attorney now. That attorney will figure out who owes and why. Get started. It might take a while to find the right attorney. if you let the statute of limitations pass, your sunk
