Michigan State Class Ring, Nebraska Fans - Where's The Class?

Q: 1) Demanding a Heisman recall. 2) Demanding that everyone else in the Collegiate Football world acknowledge them as THE dynasty of the 90's. 3) Insulting other teams in the midst of their greatest victory. Why don't you guys just sit back and allow people like me, an Ohio State fan, to come on and congratulate you for one of the most dominating performances that I have ever seen in a collegiate game - let alone a championship game? Nebraska '95 is truly one of the greatest college football teams that I have ever seen.

A:Please do not make generalizations. It makes you look just as idiotic as the few Husker fans who are beating their chests. A lot of NU fans were frustrated by the lack of respect for their team, even after they out-played FSU in 94 and beat Miami in 95. Swallowing a few of your own words never hurts anyone. The ONLY exception to Frazier having just another day was that incredible 75 yard run that he had against Florida. I'm not trying to take anything away from Frazier or Nebraska, but he did throw 2 interceptions along with his remarkable runs. If the Heisman was given out after the bowls, Frazier would have won it. But, as it is, Frazier did not play well against Oklahoma (12-25, 1 td, 1 int, 10 carries for 35 yards), while George did o.k. against Michigan (104 yards on 24 carries, 1 touchdown, and 50 yards receiving on 5 catches). Frazier is a great player and should get some recognition for it, sure. Oh, wait, he has 2 National Championship rings and 3 bowl MVP's. Enough said... Just let it go and allow Eddie and Ohio State to be happy with the Heisman. After the first 4 weeks, Nebraska played Pacific, Washington State, Michigan State, Arizona State, while Ohio State played Washington, Pittsburgh, Notre Dame, and Penn State. I'm not denying that Nebraska is #1 now. Back then, though, Ohio State had as much a claim to it as Nebraska fans did. It was a down year in the Big Ten for bowl victories. But, of course, Michigan and Ohio State didn't play teams like UCLA and Colorado State - like Kansas and Kansas State did, either. Even Colorado, a team that I have a great deal of

respect for, played Oregon. Instead, Michigan played Texas A&M's #1 defense and OSU played #4 Tennessee. Yes, we were wrong. So please, shove it down our faces a bit more, ok? I'm not feeling bad enough after losing to Michigan for the 6th time in 8 years (and one tie) or losing another bowl game for the 6th time in 8 years. I need someone whose team just won the national championship for a second year in a row to come by and remind me of how wrong I, and all the other Buckeye fans, were. They're probably still getting over the losses to Michigan and Tennessee. Put yourselves in our shoes for a second. On second thought, forget that. It's not a great feeling.
