Mechanical Engineering In Maryland

Q: I will be graduating with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in May of 1997, and I will be available for employment in that time frame. Attached below is a text version of my resume for your consideration. My primary areas of expertise are in Finite Element Analysis and Advanced Composite Materials. I have also completed course work in several other areas including Fracture Mechanics and Biomechanics. The goal of my thesis research is to characterize the non-linear constitutive behavior of woven ceramic matrix composites. In addition to the above research I have been responsible for a large scale software development project throughout my graduate studies. This project has been to

develop a graphical user friendly finite element software package named DENDRO which incorporates C, FORTRAN, the X Window System, and Postscript.
