Mechanical Engineering Masters Project
Q: I am still looking for a topic for M. Eng. project. Does anybody have any more ideas? This is open to anybody, anything even vaguely related to snowmobiling is welcome. If you have anything that you are interested in trying or are curious about its feasibility, email me with a suggestion. No matter how stupid you may think it is - just drop a line. I am really trying hard to fiind a good research topic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
A: -How about the efficiency of the snowmobile transmission? (CVT) I always wondered why lighter cars like the GEO don't already have this type of power transmission.....seems like a no-brainer to me. - I don't remember if it was you that I talked to before or not... but, the one area that is not being addressed is "groomer technology". As the trails get more and more crowded, the ability to maintain them effectively is going to become increasingly important.
