Mba Finance Ranking

Q: Does anybody have ranking information for undergraduate Finance major?

A:Why do you want an undergraduate degree in Finance, as opposed to an undergraduate degree from a top school followed by an MBA? (The traditional route to investment banking, etc. ) You will probably have to get an MBA to play anyway, so why not get an education first? The most prestigious schools generally do not offer an undergraduate major in "finance," and a degree from one of them would help you gain entry to the big leagues. What is your goal? Please do not listen to the constant outrage from this group when ever one suggests a business undergraduate program. There are many successful, and happy, people that went the undergrad route with business. Not off us can pay for an MBA degree, and most successful programs do not want MBA candidates until they have 5 years of more of work experience. Some of us have to pay our own way and can not shut down our expenses at age 28 to go back to college. Check out US News as they rank the specialties in premium services. To the group: why can't the answer be to the question? Some people may chose a different route than YOUR IDEAL. This "business school is not a good option" gets tiring. She asked for finance ranking not finance as a major. Several years ago I was looking for information regarding several top schools and compared them for business. This news group then went on and on for threads and threads as to "why would you want a business degree - as - they are worthless - and - the only acceptable outcome was liberal arts and grad school.
