Masters Degree Program
Q: I am seriously thinking of persuing my masters degree in computer
science or software engineering.
Which online university would you recommend?
I have a list of criterias that I am looking for:
1. Has to be VA accredited
2. 100 percent online.
3. Has to be an accredited institution and well accepted by employers.
4. and excellent student services.
A:'Computer Science Online Degree'
Then click on the "Masters Computer Science" link.
No, don't go there. It's a Website that recommends only its paid
sponsors, which include very expensive schools (American
InterContinental University) and unaccredited schools (Kennedy-
Western University).
You might also look at
http://www.petersons.com/distancelearning/code/search.asp whihc gives
information and links on many schools (mostly public) in a wide range
of degree fields and levels (and yes the schools pay to have themselves
listed).
I won't claim to be completely neutral in this, but you might
consider Mercer University's software enginering program, which is
available via distance learning using the internet. We are accredited
by SACS, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the
primary regional accrediting body for the southeast.
