Mass. Lawyers Want More Mone
Q: Massachusetts trial lawyers, upset that juries aren't awarding them lots of money like in other states, are filing a bill to give them greater ability to pick jurors they like.
A: I hope this gets shot down like the crap it is. I was on a jury panel in Texas, and saw what these people are trying to "achieve". It's awful. From the description in the article, it sounds like MA juries -do- have as unbiased a bent as possible -because- the lawyers have no access to them.
