Magnetic Fashion Jewelry
Q: Looking for metal, high quality collar that can be worn under
> clothes.... more jewelry look. Anyone have sources?
A:You may find my source page helpful with your search.
It is at:

There are several links there but you can maybe start with
Pandora and Pendragon
I'm also interested in a permanant item, but my husband hesitates because of
my 'normal' kind of job. I know he loves the concept so something that's
very jewelry looking would serve us both!
I checked out all the links I could find on-line and didn't find
anything I liked. I love the look of many of the chains, but I have long
hair, and I have to be careful what I wear around my neck or my hair
tangles around it.
I finally found what I was looking for at a store called Ylang-Ylang.
It's totally mainstream, in many malls, but it carries a large
assortment of stainless-steel or similar necklaces in various chain
types and with various closures. I found several I liked, which had
decorative magnetic closures that due to their weight would hang around
to the front, and reminded me somewhat of the feel of having a lock
hanging there. However, the necklace I finally chose is a single strand,
large chain in the back, with a standard hook-style closure, which makes
it adjustable (from necklace to choker length); the front is multiple
strands of smaller chain that actually look like CHAIN chains (if that
makes any sense). I love it. It's heavy enough to feel like a collar,
it's both casual and dressy enough to wear with anything from work to
fetish clothes, and the chain-look is a real turn-on for me (since I
love bondage).
They're also quite reasonably priced. I happened upon a sale and got
mine for about
