Law Library ,info??
Q: Does anyone know if there is a Law Library on the net that the general public has access to??
A: -There are lots of different sites with different kinds of information. The problem is finding what you need. For example, there are a large number of Supreme Court decisions available for free over the Internet, but how do you find one that is relevant to what you are researching? What you need, therefore, is a site that arranges information by subject. You might try the following: The Legal Information Institute of Cornell Law School, http://www.law.cornell.edu/ The Internet Law Library of the U.S. House of Representatives, http://law.house.gov/ -There are a lot of legal sites that will let you do a lot of research on the net. But you are probably better off going to your nearest courthouse. Most (at least in my part of the country) have a law library in them or nearby that is open to the public. Also, most major universities that have a law school will have a library that is open to the public.
