Jewelry Making Project
Q: my wife and I have been bitten by the beading bug, and in the last 30
days have spent literally hundreds in beads and jewelry making
paraphernalia.
Today, I finished my first jewelry making project. I tried taking some
photos of it, and would love any pointers or tips from those of you who have
been doing this a while. Thanks in advance!
A:to be honest, altho what I see looks fine (not to my taste, but that's not
relevant) but it is really not enough detail in the picture to give the kind of
"technique critique" you seem to be asking for.
Next time, try a pale gray (or gray-blue) background and take your picture from
directly above (yes, I mean the camera pointing down toward the table) Or else
pin the piece to a display board and take a pic. If you are addicted to
jewelry *and* the internet, you will prob find yourself investing in a scanner
too! And if you already own a flatbed, or have access to one, try that instead
- very good results at resolutions of 100-150 or so.
I do have a question, tho - with those large beads, is this bracelet
comfortable to wear?
