Q: Does anybody have a list of good immigration lawyer in Chicago area? Any that can be reached by email? Any information will be appreciated.
A: I would be happy to give you the names of a few lawyers in Chicago. However, you should know that since immigration law is federal in nature (i.e. no state law is involved), you can use a lawyer anywhere in the U.S. to handle an immigration matter. Why w ould you do this? Lawyers in smaller cities have considerably lower expenses and may charge considerably less. That is one reason I located here in Nashville, Tennessee after graduating from the University of Chicago Law School several years ago. Let me now if I can help out.
