Many IT professional do more than correct technology; they are also developing new products, and software. For every new security devices being created for computer software there are new hackers trying to destroy it. For every worm or virus being destroyed; a new one is being developed. Getting your IT degree is the best degree that you can go for if you love computers and computer technology and money.
