Hypnosis

Q: Anybody have any opinions on where to get some good training in Stage Hypnosis I see that Stage Hypnosis Center and J Royle seem to come out on top of the www searches. I spend a lot of time in both the UK and USA so both these are a possibility for me. However I dont seem to be able to find any ubiased reviews of these or any others. Anybody got any strong opinions on either of these or can offer any where else that offers good training.

A: -I am not sufficiently familiar with either of those two to give an opinion. However, I would recommend you get formal training in hypnotherapy before pursuing stage hypnosis. The best stage hypnotists are those who have well-rounded training. Then, if you have the chance, take a course from Ormund McGill. You may have to travel to the U.S. for that, but it is worth the time and effort. In my opinion, any course the focuses first

or most on how much money you will make before discussing how skilled you will be should be avoided. Also, avoid any course that claims they can train you in a weekend. Good training takes a minimum of 150 hours, preferably 300 or more. NOTE: Some specialized training classes, such as Ormund McGill's, are done in a weekend, but that assumes you have already completed the basic training in hypnotherapy and are only interested in refining your stage technique. (And, no, Ray-Ray, this is not specialized training in "hypno-fetish" techniques!) -may be biased but check out.... http://www.hypnotherapycourse.net/customercomments.htm I think that speaks for itself!
