How Do I Get Internet Harrassment Stopped
Q: I'm currently being smeared on the Usenet by a certain pinhead using
pacbell.net, and meanwhile another slime at earthlink.net has been
forging Usenet posts in my name.
I have:
(1) complained to the ISPs in question (but so far neither ISP has
taken any action);
(2) posted details of the harrassment to news.admin.net-abuse.usenet;
(3) filed a criminal complaint against the individual in the
pacbell.net case with Sacramento police, which is also who the
pinhead works for.
Is there anything else I can do?
A: 1) IT WOULD seem to me that this type of posting could better and more effectively be handled thru eMail. 2) The poster is well known for his police bashing and you only need to search deja news. IMO he is using this forum to further this because he has been castigated in other groups for refusing to provide proof of his allegations. As a subscriber to Internet IDirect I object to support personal being conned into wasting their time when a subscribers are waiting for answers to technical problems.
