Help For A Pre-law Mock Trial (sexual Harrassment Case)?
Q: Help for a pre-law mock trial (sexual harrassment case)?
Here are the basic facts
Alice 26, has accused her professor of sexually harrassing her in the past. The school board dismissed the accusation due to the lack of enough evidence. She has also been in and out of school. She says that this is because of her financial problems. She also was seeing a therapist at the time
However, she failed to mention this on her application form to Pacific Co. Pacific Co. later hired her as a secretary. Alice accused her supervisor, Stanley, of sexual harrassing her. She worked for a week before leaving. Alice claims that she was "asked out" by her supervisor, and that Stanley often made crude remarks that made her feel uncomfortable. She then went to the Director Walsh, who allegedly ignored her complaint
These last few facts are not agreed upon. For one, Stanley denies any notion of sexual harrassment. Alice, in his opinion, also didn't do all her work. Walsh also denies that he ignored her
I'm the defense. Any lawyers with pointers for me?
A: I assume you're the defense for the company. ok, it seems as though prior actions regarding the professor would be used by the company to discredit Alice by citing instability particularly mental and/or hinting at a pattern of Alice
