Have You Experience Buying Jewelry At Costco?

Q: As the subject says, I'm looking for a place to buy a silver necklace or bracelet for a christmas present. I know practically zero about such things and don't want to get ripped off. Please post if you have any recommendations. Anyone have any experience buying jewelry at Costco? Thanks in advance.

A:-No idea about costco, but Zellers and Sears both have really nice silver jewellery at good prices. -Don't know about silver...but for gold and diamonds... Minichello Jewellers, on Robson street, 2nd floor, across from Pacific Centre. Seedy looking building, until you get into their store. Tight security, cameras all over. A friend in the insurance business referred me to them. They do all their appraisals. Sell gold by weight. Full papers for diamonds. Anyways, I bought my wife's engagement ring there. Wedding rings. Very high quality. I believe they even guarantee to buy back anything they sell (from the original purchaser). To me, that shows they stand by their products. Also, a good

sign of their quality is the amount of Italian gangster types in there One thing I learned from living beside an Italian family for 25 years...they don't buy cheap quality jewellery. I've had many relatives from Germany, come to buy from there while on vacation here. All from word of mouth from the last visiting relatives before them. -My boyfriend purchased a really nice gold chain for me from Costco last Christmas and I'm really pleased with it. The quality is very good, although you would have to compare prices as I don't know how much it was. I would assume Costcos prices are at least reasonable compared to other jewellers, if not better. But I'm just assuming that.
