Has Anyone Seen The Drivers Ed Video From Something Wierd Video?
Q: A few months back, someone was asking about this deranged driver's-ed
film they saw sometime in the 70's. I had seen it in drivers-ed too,
and have been asking around to get a copy of it. Finally some one told
me that there is this video available from Something Wierd Video,
called the Earl J. Deems Collection. He made a lot of these films and
was finally asked to stop making them as the contents where
questionable. Has anyone seen this? Anyone else know more about it?
A:They showed my elementary school a driving safety video when I was in...
third grade, and It showed dramatizations of people being sliced open by
glass, getting crushed by wheels, etc. There was a segment called "actual
accidents" that showed real people with their eyes hanging out and all the
skin ripped off their arm. When I asked the teacher why they were showing
this, she yelled at me and told me to shut up. Later a secretary came and
told me I could leave. I did, but spent the rest of the day in the office
being yelled at. The name of the school is P.S. 185 in Brooklyn, N.Y. and
the bastards that worked there should all be stoned.
