Harrassment Restraining Order

A: If they truly are the "barest of actions" and the injunction is in effect "house arrest," then yes, the preventive measures are too extreme. As I said, the brief natures of the scenario makes it hard to say yes or no. But if you're talking about someone who openly fantasizes about raping women (not just "banging them"), takes steps that could be **reasonably** construed as stalking women then at least consideration of a restraining order is not out of the question. As I said, it's all a matter of degree and balance A person who is a victim of harassment may seek a restraining order from the court. The person or guardian of a minor who is the victim of harassment may seek a restraining order on behalf of the minor. The restraining order prohibits harassment. A restraining order may be issued against an individual who has engaged in harassment, or against organizations which have sponsored or promoted harassment.
