Harrasment In Schools

Q: Allow children to the option of attending athelete free schools. There are thousands of kids dying to be in an environment free of the musclehead bullies that gravitate toward football and other violent sports. japan has bloody movies, bloody video games, and bloody motherfuckin cartoons....hell the japs dont even get in fights at school why? no fuckin jocks, and no fucking idealogy of violence that sports fanatics produce. Amercia is seeped in hatred and condemnation for those of different, appearance lifestyle, or religion. Put the jocks in thier own school......all the kids that want to be like the macho violent jocks can go to that school. Let the kids who want to be free of the atmosphere of athletic harrasment BE FREE. you know what happened at colorado?

A: My take on what happened goes like this... and once again the media missed the point. What happened was about injustice. In America we are supposed to be free to be ourselves without fear of harassment and retribution from anybody. These 2 students were probably harassed on a pretty regular basis through much of their time in grade school and this carried over into high school careers. Nobody at their schools stopped it while everybody knew it was going on.

The 2 kids got admonishment and retribution from their classmates for being different and they didn't have the tongue to stop it verbally themselves so it continued for years. Lets face it kids can be just as mean as grown ups. The teachers knew what was going on before the event occurred. Yes this was a certainly tragic event and I am grieved for the losses of the families...it should not have happened. The thing to watch for in regards to identifying a person who might do this sort of thing again is pretty simple. Ask yourself...who is getting unjustly harassed in America today. Talk to these people if at all possible and let them know somebody cares.
