Harrasment Cases

Q: I have been reluctant to broach the topic of the 5th Amendment... It was my ace card On Sexual Harrasment, I view this like I do a murder ... you need to "have a body" Originally, the Paula Jones case was thrown out. Eventually it was settled but this would be a landmark case if it was interpreted as some admission of guilt in the charges of sexual harrasment?

A: I thought sexual harrasment was against the law and criminal. Then again this was a civil case, as are many sexual harrasment cases. I have no training in law at all but I think it prudent to use a little common sense with the law to keep away from breaking the law. It works for me. Seriously, this post did a great job of showing the essence of both points of view and allowing the reader to decide which side is the winner. The position of those that want Clinton impeached and gone have always said "Admit your lying" or "Resign from office" because they TALK about the Constitution but this entire episode has shown how the right has subverted the Constitution clearly on 5th Amendment grounds while trying to get rid of the man they hate. If you are being investigated by a grand jury, you are not allowed to claim the 5th amendment..... Now tell me that isn't against your Constitutional Rights... It called contempt of Court
