Getting A Great Dog Picture
Every dog owner wants at least a few great photos of their pet to show around or to keep close by. Anyone who has ever tried to take a dog picture, though, knows that the process is not as easy as it looks. There are probably thousands of dog pictures in the country right now that show little more than dog-colored blurs. Dogs do not always stay still for a dog picture. The other major problem with taking a dog picture is the "plain Jane" problem, whereby your cute and charming dog suddenly becomes unenthusiastic and listless just as you get the perfect set up fro a dog picture. There are several ways to snap a great dog picture, though, if you are willing to put even a little effort into the project: •Try taking a dog picture while your dog is busy with something - such as playing with a new toy. This will result in a natural-looking dog picture and will let you avoid the hassle of trying to pose your dog for a dog picture. •Use props. Any dog picture looks better if the background shows your dog's favorite blanket or toy. Taking a dog picture outside also lets you take advantage of outside lighting and a nice background. •To snap a great dog picture, keep a camera handy at all times. That way, when your dog makes a cute expression or does something photo-worthy, you are ready for the moment. •Be patient. It often takes many bad dog pictures to finally capture a really good dog picture. Keep trying. •If you do try to pose your dog, get something that will distract him or her - like a clicker - and use that to get your dog to look in specific directions.
