GOT LETTERS FROM ATTORNEYS MUST READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Q: Today I received a certified letter from attorneys. They said DTV(who retained them) has proof I have a pirated access card. I DON"T!!!!!!!!!!! They left a # for me to call. They are threatning fines etc. They want 1. A letter from me swearing not to pirate again. 2. Any pirate stuff I have. 3. Pay Dtv money. When they call, I am going to inform them that I do not own, sell, or program cards and NEVER HAVE!!!!!! I am going to get attorneys of my own and sue for harrasment as I am totally disabled WITH Anxiety problems. The only thing I ever ordered was a bootloader for a "friend" whom I never see and have not seen for ages. I also bought an emu/reader writer for a friend who's credit card was maxed. We never even received it. Is it illegal to purchase these things??? Can I sue them for harrasment or??

A: if it were me, I'd call the number and deny

everything! I wouldn't ignore it and if I ever do get one of those letters, I'll spend the cash and have a lawyer write them one in return. Its a Certified Letter from a Lawyer saying if you do not respond, they will file your name among a massive civil suit.. and people tell you to ignore it!?!? Dewd, protect yourself! I am positive nothing would ever become of it and that it is mearly a scare tatic.. but it COULD come back and bite you in the ass if you choose to ignore... Its easy for people that haven't received one to say "ignore it" "throw it in the trash bin" "roll up some pot in it and smoke I am going to get attorneys of my own and sue for harrasment
