Free Online English Writing Course
Q: An instructor at our University is developing an online English writing
course, and will be delivering the course via WebCT. The course will
require several papers from the students to be submitted for grading, and
these papers must conform to APA writing style. The instructor, who uses
MSWord, was wondering how the papers would appear in Word, if the students
created them using any number of word processing applications, and what the
best method of receiving student papers would be, since formatting of the
papers will be critical to the assigned writings.
Any suggestions, other than having the students mail them?
A:If a student is using application other than MSWord, make sure the
application comes with a feature that they can save as ".doc" I think
that is the best way to retain MS Word format. If they don't have it, let
them download software that could convert them to MS Word. If that
doesn't work , there is a free software that convert documents into pdf.
Just go to adobe or download.com to get it.
