Free Ged Pretest

Q: So my 16 y/o has officially been ousted out of her TIP program and is not eligible to re-enter school until November unless she has a job from now until then...its manditory she has a job in order to renter this TIP program at school.. My other problem w/this is that I may have to give up my beloved apartment now because ODSP will now be taking off her amount from my check...that is 250 per child if I am correct? Does anyone have the right amount?

A:I had a special needs child in my benefit unit. He passed his GED pre-test in grade five, with the exeption of Math which nobody had taught him. I asked his V.P. to allow him to learn at his own pace and write the G.E.D. when he knew his math, but he told me that the school board would never approve it because ...and I quote..."you are a single mother on welfare and the married two income families, with equally bright kids, need their kids in school fulltime til they're 16 'cause there's no day care and they'd would

be jealous". He wanted to go to school and learn his social skills along with his peer group. Oh he's learned some pretty choice social skills alright, like where's the nearest foodbank. He's now a 23 year old highschool drop-out (excuse me, pushed through the cracks and forced to withdraw). I was going to homeschool him but along came the Harrisites and tossed my FBA member I.D. case file into nomans land, and OW wouldn't allow me too unless he paid board, which he couldn't do 'cause he didn't have a job, and he couldn't get one 'cause he didn't have his highschool or GED. Idiots....making life so nearly impossible for the most gifted and brilliant of the poplulation.
