Florida Sexual Harrasment

Q: Am I losing any sleep over this? No. Can men, as a downtrodden minority, survive this? I'm sure. But it just struck me as an abuse of superhero power....and the only way we let it go without note, is because a woman did it. If a guy had, there'd be no question it'd have been a sexual assault.

A: What society do you live in? Now, when you were talking physical power above, you were of course right. But women control men with sex in a great deal of relationships. Now, if you're trying to say traditional men have the power to force sex on women, then I'd understand. But women hold a lot of sexual power in this society. I'm not saying it's right, any more than you're saying it Not only would you be charged with physical assault but most likely sexual assualt as well. An additional charge you won't get if you slap someone in the face I have checked (a friend is a Florida State trooper) , and while there is the possibility of sexual "harrasment", not assault, a

slap to the face WILL be physical assault (known as simple assault), pulling pants down will NOT be physical assault (least not in Florida). The closer example (as in my other response) would be woman who is a black belt. Aside from that whole "my hands are registered as deadly weapons" B.S., in the eyes of the law they don't have any more or less rights or responsibilities than any other citizen just because she has the capacity to do greater harm. If she had put a nerve grip on the guy's hand (something that can't be confused with choking or something like it that would truly be assault), everybody would just say "whew - better not mess with her" and be done with it
