Fall In Love With The Jardi Hotel
Nestled at the heart of Barcelona, this hotel is one gem of a find. If you are looking to go to this wonderful city in Spain, then the Hotel Jardi is the place to stay. Recommended by the Sunday times, the hotel gives you A-1 experience for not a lot of money. The rooms are a bit small, but modern and clean. The café next door does create a bit of noise, but that just adds to the charm. But if it bothers you, all you need to do is close the windows and air-conditioning and voila: noise gone. And for a budget hotel, the staff is warm, friendly, and speaks very good English. If you feel like asking for tourist destinations or what place to find a local day tour, they are more than happy to recommend one. For someone who deals with transient tourists a lot, they are surprisingly cheerful and welcoming. The hotel itself is conveniently located: just a few blocks from Rambalas and the Cathedral. Next to it is Bar Del Pi, arguable one of the best bars in the city. Nearby is a very good place that serve tapas, as well as several spots frequented by locals: Plaza Catalunya and La Boquera Market near Rambla. Transportation is easy to come by, just take the bus near the hotel or a taxi. Be warned though: as a budget hotel, the Hotel Jardi is easily booked. It has a high rating in tourist magazines and is sometimes booked on tours. The internet is the best way to make a reservation, though last minute accommodations can still be made during the off-season. It is recommended
