Does Anyone Got Any Suggestions About Jewelry Storage?

Q: was wondering how everyone here stores their jewelry?? Right now i'm using one of those Rubbermaid plastic drawer organizers. But i find it's not working very well.. Necklaces get tangles, earrings messed up. I have *alot* of jewelry and can't find a jewelry box big enough to store it all. I have tons and tons of bangles.... in every color! I most have about 200. Alot of hoop and dangle earrings (most earring holders only hold earrings on a post.. like studs). And tons of necklaces and chokers. I just ordered about 20 new pieces for myself and I'm trying to figure out something to use to sort my jewerly. Something that keeps my earring pairs together would be great, also something large enough to hold alot of bangles, also something that will store necklaces without them tangling! Anyone got any suggestions???

A:-bought a wood tie hanger at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and hung it on my bathroom wall. I hang my costume jewelry necklaces from the tie hangers, and it works beautifully, no more tangles, and it's easy to find what I'm looking for. The rest of my jewelry is in a plain cardboard box, out of sight. -I stuck some plastic hooks on the wall near my dresser for chains and pendants. (Same kind of hooks in closet for belts.) I bought at Kmart in the fishing tackle dept. some small boxes which are

clear plastic, have 20 tiny sections- lined the bottom with velvet- these store earrings, rings, some bracelets fit too. The compartments are adjustable. About 2 bucks per. Better than messing with jewelry boxes. NO tangling, can see everything at a glance. Some for silver, others for gold. I don't think those armoires are such a great idea. Nothing like announcing "Here it all is" to a burglar. -a friend of mine actually decorated her bathroom with her jewelry. She put little pins in the wall, and hung all her necklaces and bracelets on the pins. Of course, if you tend to hold large parties, you probably don't want to do this in case someone's got slippery fingers.
