Cubic Zirconia Wedding Ring, Buying Another Wedding Ring ?
Q: I had my ring recast. The used the original gold . It nice to have
the "original" ring and have it fit. Congrats on the 50 pounds!!
A:Have you actually priced what it would cost to resize it, vs. just buying a
new one? I think this is the most important fact you must arm yourself with
; my guess would be that resizing will cost less (especially if yours is a
simple narrowish band).
That said: there are times when it's ok to be miserly. But if your wife
would be hurt or offended by the suggestion of buying a new one, I'd pony up
and have it resized. Peace and harmony in your marital relationships are
worth something, and it's not like you can't afford it.
I've thought about buying myself a band of some sort, a half-size smaller than

It wasn't expensive, but it's unique. I'd hate to lose it.
I have some atrophy causing the left side to become smaller. Hate to resize
the ring unless i knew if this is permanent. But in the case of a healthy
weight-loss, i'd say resize the ring! It's just like throwing away the "fat"
pants, planning on them never fitting again.
I think the other posters' suggestions about arranging a new "exchange" of
the new ring might also be a good compromise. Whatever route you go, I think
it will turn out well if you approach your wife with your problem (ring to
big), info on various solutions (cost of resizing, possibility of having to
re-resize, cost of new ring, possibility of renewing vows, possibility
